Went for a walk on a wild, wet and windy day and sought sanctuary in The White House. It was cosy and the food was absolutely delicious! The staff were really friendly, the service was quick but we never felt rushed and the food was so tasty and comforting. My partner had roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, with vegetables and mashed potatoes. I had a vegetarian option of a mushroom and halloumi burger with chips and salad. The place operates track and trace and has Covid-19 safety measures in place. There was plenty of parking available, although that might have been due to the weather. I would definitely recommend trying it out. I'll definitely be going back!

Fantastic meal, absolutely the tastiest soup ever, great steak too. . Staff very friendly. Great service. Can't ask for more. Wish I could give 10 stars. Will be back, counting the days.

Lovely scenery, gave me a chance to try out the night mode on the IPhone 11 Pro Max.
Good for a drink after a nice walk. Not tried the food yet but hoping to go back again when allowed.
