Had a gorgeous freshly made lunch. A little bit more expensive than we usually pay but the food is deffinately worth it. Best Hot Beef Chiabbata hubby's ever had . The chips were scrummy. Sat outside so can't comment about the inside but the view was lovely across the lake.
My husband and I usually dog walk around the lake on our anniversary and then have a meal in The Wine Press. We have never been disappointed. If it's on the menu I choose sea bass. The whole meal was delicious, my husband enjoyed his steak and mushroom pie, generous portion. Lovely atmosphere and very pleasant and welcoming staff. Highly recommend. Lynn Evans
It was our first ever visit to the Wine Press for lunch. We were pleasantly welcomed on the premises with our lunch required quickly attended to. The hard working staff were pleasant and courteous at all times. The meals was reasonably priced, well presented, tasty and the portion would satisfy anyone's appetite. We will definitely be going there again and will most certainly recommend it to our friends. Thank you to the three staff who attended our table.
Pleasant contempory feel about the place. . A group of ladies ate the meal deal .. around 14 for 2 courses, dishes are quite small, (see pics, just my opinion) however very tasty and small is all that was required and we were going for a few drinks later, service very good and view over the lake is a bonus. Will go again, however probably not with my other half as the small portions will not please him.
