Superb place to visit. 40s themed tea room including tea cosys! On various visits I’ve tried teas, scones, cakes and hot food. Eggs Benedict was delicious as was every cake tried. So refreshing to use a local business without a huge chain brand behind it. Highly recommended.

Popped in for a coffee whilst house hunting. Loved the decor. Impressed with the Covid precautions.

Oldie worldy: well, 1940s anyway - which is their theme! Great quality home cooked food and cake. An absolutely lovely place. Brilliant owners/staff. A lovely 'village' atmosphere. Such a rare place to find in this modern world. Use it, or lose it!

We had delicious afternoon tea here - finger sandwiches, tea and scones with cream and jam, and cake - all the food is prepared to an extremely high standard, and we were made to feel so welcome by Helen and Kelly. The tea room has a welcoming, vintage vibe, with lots of things to look at while you're eating. Outdoor seating is also available during good weather. The facilities were clean and well appointed. We felt very safe with regards to strict adherence to covid guidelines. Highly recommended to book in advance so that you get a table at this wonderful little eaterie! A hidden gem. Thank you to Tea in the Square for making our afternoon out, so special.

We stopped in at tea in the square on the way home from picking up my daughters gcse results. It was really lovely, the ladies were so friendly and welcoming and the service was fab. We both had a cream soda ice cream float and a cheese scone. It was lovely to sit outside and just relax and watch the world go by. The scones were delicious, I think probably the best I've ever had. A little gem. X
