They have a very poor understanding of their inventory and the field staff are clueless. I just spent 10 minutes arguing with the blonde kid behind the lumber order desk that 4 laminations is roughly half inch plywood. He disagreed and said its 15.5mm and charged me for 5/8. Well the sticker on it said 12.5mm and if he wasn't so lazy he would have taken the time to look. I've had several bad experiences with this place now and moving forward will take my business elsewhere.

I have always considered Pinehill top notch but my experience yesterday means I will not return until the pandemic is over. They have signs all over the place about no admittance without a mask. My husband and I were the only customers in the store wearing masks and not social distancing. I have been in other stores where customers were reminded by staff and nobody took offence. When we went to the yard to pick up our order, the staff in the yard were not wearing masks. I told the young man filling our order to get away from our vehicle because he was not wearing a mask. I asked him where his was. He replied it was in his pocket. He still did not put it on.
