I did a Russian Course with Katie at Iris Beauty Academy and oh my god am I glad I did! For years I’ve only done classics and always been adamant I didn’t want to do Russians, I’ve always looked at doing russian volume courses and decided against as I didn’t think the courses looked ‘good enough’ my sis showed me Katie’s website and there was just something telling me to go for it so I did... I was there for a full day with Katie feeling completely at ease!! I didn’t feel nervous around her at all. I’m honestly so glad I did this course with her she brought me up to date on everything I need to know. And I know I’ve come away feeling positive and ready to get out there! I have a little booklet of information with me I got to take home, The kit is certainly good quality, Her training room is so pretty. I would 100% recommend Iris Beaty Academy. I’ve done courses with different companies/trainers before and not wanted to go back as I didn’t think I learnt much or the quality of the kit wasn’t good enough or that the classes were too big. But I know I will be booking back on with Katie for sure. I hope this helps for anyone thinking about booking a course at Iris Beauty X X X

I had the most amazing time on my LVL course! Not only was it informative but it was fun! We was able to have a chill relaxing day while leanring about the important stuff. Katie was very professional and didnt push you atall she let you work at your own pace and encourages you while your working on your model! She is a lovely lady and i hope to go back to her in the future. Visiting during covid was a worry but katie ensured face covering and hand sanitiser was available throughout and social distancing where it was necessary. I would 100% recommend iris beauty academy for any future courses! Thank you
Just completed the classic lash course with Katie . What a fantastic tutor. She made me feel at complete ease . She is a complete professional but also very down to earth and easy to talk to (this is everything to some people ) she is amazing at what she does and as stated below her attention to detail is something else , since completing the course is can also say her after care is amazing and is always at the end of the phone if I need to ask anything . Completed the classic lash course with Katie and she is the perfect teacher. Her skills presenting the theory are perfect, she has great attention to detail and makes a 20 slide PowerPoint interesting! (My eyes did not glaze over once...No death by PowerPoint today! ) Katie’s skills are on point, she is a perfectionist and encourages her students to follow in her footsteps. I promised myself I wouldn’t put myself under pressure during the course as learning a new skill takes time, katie was reassuring and super patient with me, I felt at ease every step of the way..... she even bought biscuits and cake! I feel it is also important to point out, Katie insisted she is available to Zoom/FaceTime/message if I had any questions or if I had any difficulties when practising at home.... this is important to me as I wasn’t made to feel as if I have now been left to fend for myself! I am so excited to go back and learn more skills with Iris Beauty Academy and will recommend her to anyone who wants to take that step in beauty treatments... it is worth every penny. I don’t leave reviews often. Only if someone has wound me up or given me a cold burger but Iris Beauty really is deserving of an honest and glowing review.

Absolutely loved my training day yesterday. I did the brow shape, tint and wax and then went on to do the brow lamination. Katie is so lovely and informative and it’s so clear she is such a perfectionist in everything she does. I’m so excited to start my new career and have already been eyeing up more courses to do in the future. Thankyou again Katie.
I’m a lash tech offering classic lashes and wanted to add to my treatments so looked around my area for a beauty training academy that offered a brow wax and tint course. There were lots of trainers near to me but I stumbled across Iris Beauty Academy online by accident. Even though it was a 40 minute drive away, I loved her social media content and images of her work which seemed far superior to any academies more local to me! Iris Academy is not ‘money making’ focused but more concerned about doing a great job with a huge focus on health and professionalism which really appealed to me as her work is stunning and it’s clear she cares about and loves what she does. Katie the owner and trainer was really lovely and professional from start to finish too. From the initial communication to the course pre-read and quality of the training on the day I was so happy with my decision, She put me at ease and made me feel confident from the start! I came away with no knowledge gaps and happy that I was well informed. She’s also been available for advice and guidance round the clock since my course so I know I’ve always got the support I need ongoing. I’m really confident and happy with the skills I’ve gained and have booked on another of her courses as I’ve been so impressed. Thanks Katie for being so welcoming and knowledgable xx
