PLEASE STEER CLEAR! 2010 plate Clio, 1600 Bought a clio from here 2 months ago, appeared friendly at first. I travelled over to liverpool to look and hopefully pick up the car. Said on the advert that it had 12 months mot, when I went to tax it there wasn’t any on there. They told me I could drive it without tax and MOT, I know this isn’t the case and had to go back again a few days later to collect the car. It was raining on collection and on my way home I noticed something on the windscreen, pulled over and it was a chip. Called the garage to tell them and he told me it must have been me on my way home (I’d been driving for about 5 minutes). Customer service was awful. To top this off, the timing chain snapped and the engine failed yesterday, after 2 months and not even 100 miles. Called them again as they are legally bound to fix it as it’s not fit for purpose (consumer rights act) they said it had 30 days warranty on the engine so there’s nothing they can do (strange timing for a warranty if you ask me) But doesn’t matter anyway, warranty or not it is their responsibility. Didn’t want to know so now I am forced to go to small claims to sort it out which is just ridiculous. Please avoid at all costs!

When I brought my car from them I was impressed with the service as they were friendly, they had the car at a great price for the mileage and the offered delivery of the car. However when the car arrived I was a bit disappointed in the appearance of the car as it was pretty dirty on the inside and it had a mouldy smell to it. Further to driving the car I discovered a serious problem with the tyre, it was cracked and old, the garage didn't inform me of this and didn't change the tyre for me. I complained to them and they offered to give me money towards replacing the tyre which I was happy with but its been over two months and I still haven't received my money despite ringing them several times. Awful, do not use.
