The Yangtze is closed for refurbishment. I didn't know this at the time and after phoning their number a couple of times, they answer the call then hang up straight away. Why not just unplug the phone or leave a message on an answer phone? Poor, very poor. However, I can recommend the Peking Duck at the traffic lights, good meals and good service.

Well we wasnt impressed with our meal.. Took about 30 mins from going into takeaway to getting food. The meat was fatty and another meal was tasteless Don't think I'll bother next time. Still to our usual Chinese. Shame as its close.
Came for sons 12th Birthday.. Food and atmosphere were brilliant. Staff so friendly and attentive. Fantastic experience.
Will never ever come here again. Charge my son who's 9 and adult price of 11.95 because he's "too tall" never heard of a policy like this I found it border line discrimination. Also if you are looking for service with a smile this is not the place to get it. The main lady is rude and looked at us like the dirt under her shoe. WI'll never come here again!
This is our 7th or 8th time ordering from them, delivery and collection, and it's inconsistent at best. Sometimes the food is amazing and sometimes, like today, it's very disappointing. We had to send a couple of items back due to being given the wrong dish and they couldn't have been more reluctant to resend them. Trying to tell us that that is what the dishes are supposed to be which, unless we've been given the wrong order every time we previously ordered it, simply isn't true. When we did get the right dishes they were badly made and ridiculously portioned. I paid 3 for about 14 slithers of broccoli! If you get them on a good day then their food is the best around, otherwise it's overpriced and disappointing. Also they don't seem to know their own menu, some things may have changed but we had to describe at least 2 things to them and the girl on the other end seemed baffled they do them (but the girl seemed to be quite helpful and I don't blame her for any of this). I wish this was a one-off but I doubt we'll order from them again now. Too much of a gamble to lose so much money.
I don't get the Ratings on here. Service is always great and the food is really good. Come here loads and never a problem.
