Lovely location we stopped off for lunch whilst on a very long car journey home from Pembrokeshire. Planned to stop here after reading it was dog friendly and outside seating with its own waterfall. Nice pub grub we all enjoyed our food. Lots of other dogs there and a lovely friendly atmosphere

Friendly and attentive service. Tasty food at reasonable prices. Great to have a break on our way back to Derbyshire from our holiday in Pembrokeshire. Nice garden for children to play in. Quite a number of flies buzzing around inside and a dirty fly catcher hanging down from the ceiling near our table. Windows and sills needed a good clean but toilets were very pleasant.

Great pub. Run by awesome people. Food is top notch. Ate a few times over the couple of days we were there and was never disappointed.

I have a real soft spot for this place. We've been stopping here for years on our way to Brecon. The pub itself is really nice, the drinks are well priced and the food is good pub standards - there's nothing fancy but they cook their fish so well I'd recommend the fish and chips or the fish finder sandwich. Just to note the fish fingers are actually battered goujons of lovely fish. The staff are very friendly and as others have said the beer garden is huge and great for the family. Service can be a little slow but it's run by a very small number of staff. The opening hours now sadly seem limited to Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday but I expect they have to rely on passing trade for their business. Well worth a stop off.
