Walked into an otherwise empty showroom on Saturday afternoon and expressed a strong interest in cars they had on the forecourt, asking about possible test drives the following day. 2 staff, one said “new or used?” And then just pointed at his colleague and said “he’ll help you.” Second gentleman could barely be bothered to look away from his desk to discuss what I wanted to view and test drive. When he did hear the car I was interested in he just said he didn’t have any and said “it won’t be worth me showing you any others as they are so different”, no attempt whatsoever ever to upsell or downsell me anything they had on site, or even point me in the direction of the X3 stock they had to look at them. Really bizarre lack of interest. Especially during covid when sales must be taking a hit?! Didn’t take my details, no follow up, didn’t ask me any questions. Almost the polar opposite of a typical car buying experience. Walked out very annoyed and bought a BMW the following Monday online from a Volvo dealer who couldn’t do enough to sell me the car. Customer service counts in this day and age and when I can get a better experience from someone 150 miles away who’s prepared to face time and make an effort to record personal walkthroughs, I’d say something is lacking from your dealership. I’ll get my new car serviced in Chester probably and hope for a better experience

Terrible after sales service spent 30000 with them have a problem with my bmw connect spoke to them today said it’s nothing to do with us put me in touch with Bmw connect who said it’s nothing to do with them it’s to do with the dealer ship gave up in the end no help what so ever.well it’s been over a week now replied to their web site as they asked gave them my telephone number don’t have the decentcy to even call me got to be the worse after sales service ever couldn’t do enough for me when they were after the sale

Made an enquiry over the phone on wednesday to have glow plugs supplied and fitted to my 123d msport. Left all my details (reg/phone/email even home address) and was told I would get a call. I phoned back on Thursday to be told nobody had looked at my request and another email would be sent. We're now on Friday afternoon and still zero contact. As somebody who spent years working at premium motorcycle dealerships I know the expectation on customer service at all levels and this is not good enough especially from a dealership representing BMW as a brand. My current 1 series although low mileage and nice condition is 12 years old so I'm toying with getting a used m140i next year. A good impression made here could of secured a much bigger purchase further down the line but unfortunately I'll be taking my business elsewhere for both service and any future car purchase. While I appreciate the impact covid is having on all businesses and staff levels a simple email or phone call to apologise for the delay would have made all the difference here. Disappointing. Genuinely dislike having to leave negative reviews. Emailed bmw following the reply to this review. No reply from that either. Work since carried out at another dealer.
