Bronya Lotus
Quiet location close to Carmarthen town.
The price reflects the quality really, it's not a romantic place, but perfectly suited to stay over because you need some where to sleep.
The decor is magnolia and the carpets are worn. It's well lived in but for 55 for a twin room for two night, that's absolutely fine.
The beds are pretty standard, nicely dressed and mostly clean, for a few specks of fluff.
It's not spotless, I won't lie, the bathroom, while large is dated and well used, it also leave a little icky feeling because it's not very clean, hair and soap mess in the shower, the sink and the bath, no hand soap or hand towel for drying. You are provided with two, S & M towels, but no extra in the bathroom . It's also not attached to the room its self, it's only two doors over, but a main corridor must be walked through to access, so a midnight trip requires clothes or bravery.
Food ordered at the restaurant was great, much better than expected, good choices and very good value for money and really yummy. Great portion sizes too!
Breakfast is with the room and is quick to be served and yummy to eat, your standard full breakfast and everything in between, hot drinks, juice, milk, and cereals are available too.
I wouldn't recommend for anyone who wants classy or high quality, but I'm more than happy to pay and stay again. Perfectly adequate for sleeping in and reflects the rustic nature of the area, just maybe clean down the bathroom a touch more.
Wonderful, friendly and nothing is too much.
Great value for the money.
