A perfect holiday!! Gorgeous place and amazing host on the most magical of islands. Accommodation is beautifully furnished, comfortable, spacious, light, well-equipped, secluded, nestled in nature, and luxurious. The hot tub is really big and powerful and a joy to relax in under the stars. Lovely thoughtful and unexpected extras of a locally-sourced tasty welcome pack and luxury handmade toiletries. Gaynor is incredibly welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend (though we kinda want to keep it as our secret!). Thank you Gaynor for such a wonderful holiday. Laura and Jim

I just spent a lovely last-minute weekend here and can't thank Gaynor enough. To begin, the facilities were incredible. I stayed in Nain and it was the perfect balance of simplicity and comfort for a relaxing weekend away. Gaynor provided a lovely welcome basket with tasty vegetarian options. The hut was immaculately clean and so comfortable. The fold down bed was easy to set up and the mattress was more comfortable than my bed at home! Kitchen area is small but functional (microwave, mini fridge, two burner stove top) and coffee machine. The bathroom was perfect...shower had great water pressure and hot water. Wi-Fi is available and there are plenty of plugs for charging devices (if you want to). The shared hut also has a TV if you want to zone out for a bit (perfect for a rainy afternoon!). The setting was also superb. Very relaxing to sit on the deck and watch the sunset while the horses grazed in the field. Wood was also provided for a fire which was lovely and the perfect way to end a day exploring Anglesey. This was a great place for a quiet weekend alone, but would also be perfect for a family (two cute little cubbies in the hut would be amazing sleeping nooks for little ones) or for a weekend with friends by renting both huts. It was really easy to explore from here - easy 10 minute drive to Newborough Forest with lots to explore. Thanks for sharing your lovely home, Gaynor!

First visit to Anglesey for me and my 2 dogs and our stay at cwtch@hafod was magical! We had a very warm welcome to this peaceful natural setting and my Shepherd’s hut was cosy, spotless and well appointed. Gaynor the owner gave me lots of good tips for dog walks and dog friendly cafes and she arranged an on site massage for me too. A highly successful trip that I can’t wait to repeat.

Cwtch hafod was a delightful find. The booking and re-booking (due to covid) was straight forward and communication was great with lots of information about the shepherd huts and cabin. We arrived and were met by the owner who showed us round and had provided lots of lovely goodies for us to enjoy. The bacon and sausages were amazing. All dietary requirements are catered for. We immediately felt like we were on holiday. The cabin is spacious and peaceful. It had everything that we needed and the hot tub was superb. It was a real treat to be able to relax and unwind in the tub with lovely views over the fields and woodland. We filled our days with plenty of local attractions such as Foel Farm which is within walking distance, the stepping stones at Rhuddgaer and Ynys Ddwynwen. It was also nice to spend time at the cabin to enjoy the surroundings and comfort it provides. We would definitely return here as there is so much still to do in the area. Thank you cwtch-hafod, we feel like we have had a proper holiday.

We spent a relaxing few days in the 'Mam' cabin. The site is peacefully located down a country lane. Gaynor is a very welcoming host and has thought of everything to make the cabin comfortable: from the toasty log burner with wood provided to the cosy duvets. The cabin is well equipped and with a baby in tow it was great to have a high chair and child-friendly tableware. The welcome hamper was very much appreciated and contained such good quality, tasty local produce and lots of treats to enjoy during our stay. The bathroom is luxurious with a large bath and a sky view, fantastic shower and lovely toiletries. The outdoor space has comfy seating and we loved the private hot tub - pure bliss! Thank you Gaynor - you have a very special place in a delightful spot on Anglesey.

Lovely huts in a tranquil setting. The site is tucked away down a quiet road and very peaceful. The huts are really thoughtfully put together with everything you could need. The welcome hamper is a lovely touch and much appreciated. Fire baskets with wood and kindling provided. A great visit and would love to return when we can.

My friend and I had a wonderful week on Anglesey, staying at Cwtch at Hafod. The site is private and peaceful. We rented the two shepherds huts plus the Teulu hut, which is very well equipped and where we cooked and ate our meals. The Nain and Taid huts, which are self-contained (and each has a wood burner), have been beautifully designed to a high spec and are very cosy and comfortable. They were also spotlessly clean. Our host went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and had provided a lovely welcome basket of locally sourced food for us when we arrived. It was the start of a lovely holiday and I would highly recommend Cwtch at Hafod.

This was our first time staying in a shepherds hut and it was an amazing first experience. Our host Gaynor really goes above and beyond with making you feel welcome, for example I am a vegetarian and when we arrived there were vegetarian food options in the fridge and freezer, the sweet treats and handmade soap were such a nice touch. The location of this Airbnb is fab, it was perfect for us as we wanted to explore driving around North Wales. Our hut and the middle hut we're exceptionally clean, also given the circumstances that they are in a field they were spotless. The hut was equipped with kitchen utensils such as pots, plates, bowls etc which were very useful. The hut itself is very spacious for two people with a fabulous big en suite. Highly recommend this Airbnb, thanks again Gaynor!
