Oh the Views - Sunsets and Sunrises overlooking nothing but Texas Hill Country! This is an amazing B&B in the Texas Hill Country, just outside of downtown Llano with great privacy! Rick and Cloris have literally thought of everything inside and out! The front porch is perfectly set-up with two rockers, corn feed to put out for the deer who come daily as well as bird feeders and bird baths that stay busy! The inside was so clean and so organized, had every necessity and amenity we needed and was well stocked for breakfast and plenty of snacks! They included all the extras for a rainy day or just staying in - turn table, plenty of vinyl, books, movies, Netflix account, etc! It is decorated in true Texas history and charm with a lot of creativity and our stay was just not long enough! We enjoyed the BADU 1891 Restaurant in downtown Llano - a must visit and there is access to the Llano river in several areas of Llano for Kayaking and/or fishing and Inks Lake, Buchanan Lake and Longhorn Cavern State Park are all a short 20-30 minute drive for hiking, cavern tours or Kayaking and Fishing! Absolutely beautiful view and super quiet. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The room is very clean and has great Texas charm!
Great place to stay at. The cabin is in great shape and nicely decorated. It was clean. It has a very comfortable bed. All of the furniture and kitchen appliances were in good shape. It has a porch in which you can sit in chairs and watch the sun set. The host provides deer feed to throw over the fence for deer to possibly come by to eat. The host stocks the cabin with some food for breakfast such as eggs, sausage, biscuits, milk, cereal, and orange juice. This was helpful to us. The cabin also has a few other snack foods. The nightly rate was reasonable. It's a great, small cabin for a romantic getaway. There really aren't any big negatives to mention. The TV doesn't have cable or satellite. That would have been nice to have, however, it does have a DVD player and there were about 15 popular movies to choose from. The shower is small... if you're looking for a shower that can accommodate two people at the same time. But the cabin did have plenty of hot water. We had a great stay and would stay here again.
