We didn't find a free camping spot, that wasn't on the road, so we paid for this place. There is really nothing to complain. 250 NOK, Toilettes and Showers are free. Nice view onto the lake. Very nice owner. You can rent small row boats here, no Kanus oder Kajaks.

Camping placed by the beautiful Lovatnet in Loen. Could not have asked for a better location for our campingvan Owners are lovely people. 4 stars instead of 5 due to facilities such as toilets and showers could have been better. Had a great time staying there for two nights️
My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this camping site when we were looking for a place to stay for the night during our hiking vacation - and we could not have been more lucky. Helset Camping is a beautiful place to put up a tent and spend the night (or day). The location is great, and the view from the tent was amazing, overlooking the lake, the glacier and surrounding mountains. The host is super helpful, and the bathroom-facilities are very good. Easy payment by cash or by Vipps (an app), and only 200 NOK to put up a tent. Would absolutely recommend this place to others.
Very nice camping by the lake, the owner had no problem with a later check-out. Toilets and showers were clean, although there's nowhere to leave your clothes while taking a shower. Definitely a good place to spend some quiet nights and sunny days at.

Great campground right at the lake with beautiful views of the lake, waterfalls, glacier ice and some remaining winter snow on top of the mountains in front of you. Friendly hosts and very good facilities; two showers, two toilets, two bathroom sinks and a separate sink outside for dishes. Always maintained, clean, enough tissues etc. You can fish freely for trout and additional boat rental is offered.
