Lovely restaurant and nice service. The best omurice we had on our trip for a totally reasonable price. We will definitely come back here the next time we are in Kyoto.

The place can be a little hard to find, hidden away in a little alleyway, but it's definitely worth finding. The omurice here is hands down amazing, and the price is also reasonable for the quantity. They have a good variety of unique types of omurice you won't find anywhere else, so you'll want to come back a few times to try them all.

This place was pretty good. Don't confuse this with Kichi Kichi Omurice. This is the more traditional style. My friends and I thought it was delicious

We couldn't go to Kichi Kichi as it was fully booked, so we stumbled into this gem of a place, hidden in a small alley of from Pontocho. It took us 15 minutes to find this place, and another 20 minutes wait for a place inside the restaurant, as they have limited seats inside. This place is difficult to find as the English name L'oeuf is nowhere to be found on Google Maps. But the Omurice (Omuraisu in Japanese), it was out of this world! Well worth the wait. We had RUF and Beef Omurice, if you had to choose one, we would say go for the RUF. The Croquettes were really good too! A must go!! We would love to come back again if we are ever back in Kyoto.

I really wanted to try omurice while in Kyoto. This place was busy and there was a line to get in but they let me order for take out. Dish was wonderful and would eat again.

Their original omurice is to die for and is definitely worth the wait

Located in one of the narrow sidestreets of Pontocho. Quite popular, small line to get in. Good omurice, quick and friendly service. Good value.
