We got a large, clean, and nice room with a fantastic view of the fjord and mountains surrounding the hotel. Both breakfast and dinner was good, with a great view here as well. The pool, nearby cider farms and hikes were nice. The staff took great care with respect to Covid-19, and still provided great service for us. Recommended!

Staff were incredibly friendly and spoke very good English. Location was stunning with hikes all over (see photos) buffet was very good. Bit of a shame they lost the original architecture of the building.
An amazing hotel with a lot of history. Beautiful location by the Hardanger fjord. We loved the heated swimming pool with a lane that goes outside. Indoor tennis court was available (remember to bring your own white shoes). The restaurant was also very good with quality food with meat and fish options. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and with a big bathroom, although the design is a bit old and simple. The only dissapointment was the breakfast which only had a small selection of food (most likely due to Covid) and no fresh juices despite being a hotel right next to the famous Hardanger apples.
A historic hotel with attention to detail. Friendly staff, excellent food and located in one of the worlds most spectacular scenery. Definately value for money.
Beautiful 4 star property directly on the fjord. Amazing pool with an adults area and indoor/outdoor lap pool. Tennis court, outdoor spaces, paddle boats, and fjord floating sitting area. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, definitely worth the extra cost for fjord facing room. Great restaurant on site with variety of entrees on buffet.

Wonderful stay at this hotel. Facilities are great - outdoor and indoor pool and spa and sauna. Can use paddle boats or row boats without cost and buffet has great variety
