White Pine Funeral Services did a fabulous job with my niece’s funeral. The setting is beautiful and Mark Thurston was a kind, compassionate, and thoughtful funeral director. He attended to the smallest details such as replacing the nameplate on her grave after it was inadvertently smashed during burial. Losing a family member is heartbreaking, but we were in competent hands with Mark. Having a successful, happy experience with saying goodbye is a nice way to begin the healing process.

This is an absolutely beautiful venue perfectly suited to honor a loved one who has passed away. But more importantly, it is run by very caring and helpful people with incredible sensitivity and attention to detail. We used White Pine for my mom's services. My first impression was already good after they discretely left a long-stem rose on her bed where she had been laying. Then everything they did was with a clear intent to make things as easy for us as possible. They made the process extremely convenient and did everything they possibly could to make things exactly as we wanted it to honor my mom. They walked us through the process, and even included after care services with a company to walk us through all the technical parts of dealing with insurance, accounts, etc. and all the other things you don't want to have to figure out on your own after losing a loved one. They provided snacks and a room for the kids and grandkids during the viewing, and did many other things to help us. They took care of absolutely everything so that we could focus on my mom and our family. My family could not have been more pleased with the services we were provided. I would highly recommend using this company. You'l'l be well taken care of.
We feel so fortunate to have found this amazing funeral home! Their motto should be, “How can we help you honor your loved one?” Anything we asked them to do, the said absolutely! Can we have a drive by viewing? Sure! Can we take the casket outside? You bet! And so on! We had a lovely send off for my dad full of tears and laughter! Considering the sad circumstances, we had a memorable and joyful experience! Thank you, White Pine!!
I would absolutely reccomend this Funeral Home to anyone who's lost a loved one. The facility is clean and just beautiful! In the chapel there is a gorgeous stain glass window and even a grand piano. Throughout every step the staff was kind and willing to help in any way they could. They answered all of my questions and were honest and up front about everything and completely transparent with pricing and even other companies. The staff were absolutely accomadating and I am so grateful I went with White Pine. I was able to remove some of the stress and confusion with planning a funeral, and I was also able to celebrate the life of my father and give him the send off he deserved.
White Pine Mortuary was a beautiful venue to have my dads services at. The building was new and very clean. Walking into the funeral home felt warm, bright and welcoming! The staff could not have treated us better. James was Phenomenal to work with. He helped make planning a funeral bearable. They took care of every small detail, and they were willing to go the extra mile for everything to run smoothly. They made the most difficult time in our lives a little easier! I would highly recommend using them for your loved ones services!
My wife and I moved from Salt Lake about 12 years ago. Even though we had made some decisions (plots and coffins) we no longer wanted Salt Lake to be our final resting place. From some advertising I heard we decided to contact White Pine Funeral Services, in Logan, and see what they could do to for us. We were contacted by James Stephens and he has been great to work with. He not only helped facilitate the transfer of the contract for the coffins but also gave us good advice selling the plots in Salt Lake and who to contact in Cache Valley to purchase plots here. WE feel very good about the decisions we made with James' help. We would highly recommend White Pines to others.
We were in shock after our son's death and had no idea how to plan a funeral and arrange for burial. A friend recommended White Pine Funeral Services. From the first call, I felt compassion and genuine willingness to walk with us through this emotionally challenging process. James answered all our questions and made himself available to guide us through every step and to respond to changes in plans along the way. We felt supported in choosing the options we wanted without any pressure or judgment. In the end, everything went beautifully, and we were deeply grateful for their services. The building is beautiful and we felt very comfortable having our son's viewing there. Although we chose to have the funeral services at our church, I was impressed by the White Pine chapel, and under different circumstances I would have chosen to have the funeral there. I have no reservations in highly recommending White Pine Funeral Services. I also recommend taking advantage of Full-Circle Aftercare services, a free offering through White Pine Funeral Services. Rainey assisted me in making notifications and providing steps for closing social media accounts, obtaining benefits, etc. She helped taking care of many things I never would have thought of (such as stopping junk mail and solicitation calls) and lightened my task list considerably. After our thorough phone conversation, she provided me with a detailed list of actions she had completed and additional resources for me to follow up with.
White Pine Funeral Services have been so kind and helpful after the loss of my sweet mother. The facility is beautiful, and we felt well taken care of throughout the entirety of this very difficult and emotional process. Everyone who helped us was so kind and thoughtful, as well as incredibly prompt in their responses. They were knowledgeable in exactly how to help us, as well as providing incredibly well done services. My family couldn't be happier with our experience with them and would definitely recommend them to anyone.
