iE allowed me to have a great exchange year in Texas (2018/2019) and continues to influence my life positively even years after my exchange :)
I had a really really good year with iE!!! My host family was the perfect fit and I got to experience so many new things/traditions that made me grow as a person a lot!!! To add I always felt welcome and my local Coordinator was just super sweet/helpful!! Ps: I will actually go back next year to visit bc I miss them too much!! I can only recommend an exchange year with iE!! :)
Thinking back to my exchange year 2012/2013 I am still convinced that it was one of the best years of my life! It has opened so many doors for me and made me into the person I am now. iE as an organisation was wonderful and always helpful! I am currently living in Johannesburg, South Africa, for my studies. I would've never dared to move across the globe for a second time, had it not been for my amazing experience with iE and my host family in the USA!
Während meines Auslandsjahres in den USA 2019-2020 fühlte ich mich stets gänzlich umsorgt und sicher. Ob lokale Ansprechpartner, organisierte Treffen mit anderen Austauschschülern vor Ort oder das Vorbereitungsseminar vorab: iE liefert das perfekte Rundumpaket!
Mein Auslandsjahr habe ich in einer tollen Familie in Michigan, USA verbracht. Mit iE habe ich mich jeder Zeit gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Ich hatte eine tolle Gastfamilie und eine nette Betreuerin, die immer gefragt hat, wie es mir geht. Vor meiner Abreise wurde ich durch die Seminare und Gespräche gut vorbereitet und wusste ein bisschen besser, was aus auf mich zu kommt. Ich würde iE auf jeden Fall weiter Empfehlen.
