I didn’t realize this was a franchise. I was recommended to order the burrito by the staff. Im not a picky eater at all, I was starving, and couldn’t even finish it. Not appealing at all. 80% Guac and the chicken tasted weird. The quesadilla was not as bad but it was very oily and also unappealing. Don’t know how this place has so many great reviews. The staff was friendly but the food can’t make up for it.

Solid rice, solid beans, solid meats. Delicious Mexican fare as you'd expect in San Diego. Decently cheap and a good variety of items on the menu. I was particularly impressed by the corn tortillas—they were quite delicious. Not sure how busy it gets but there was plenty of seating available when I went.

Never have I ever had a worse experience at lolitas. To start off I was on hold for over 5 minutes, then they ensured me that my order would be correct. I have honestly never received this small of a burrito in my life. I am San Diego born and raised and have been to many restaurants in my life time. You think they’d put the best one next to petco park right? Wrong. The meat was dry and the fries were cold. I always ask for an extra crispy tortilla and they ensured that they double checked my order to make sure it was right. Like I said , worst burrito I’ve ever had in my life. Wouldn’t ever recommend.

Lolita’s is a good stop to eat after the padres game or walking around. The food isn’t authentic mex food, is more modern fresh food. Good customer service and the establishment looks clean as the dining area. Burritos are a good size with all the right proportions, rolled tacos and chicken tacos have guacamole, tasted fresh with a bit of chunks of avocado in it.

Lolita's is always good. It's not special, it's just really good. In San Diego you are never more than a block from excellent mexican food, if you are near Lolita's, eat there.
