Huge THANKS to Elizabeth Chauhan-Grof of 4egconsulting In the latter part of 2020 I really needed some support with my CV and some guidance and understanding on my career to date and where my next path could lead. Liz is part of a great freelancers group and I found a post recommending her. We had a one hour, no obligation chat, over Zoom. I knew within 10 mins that we could work together. She has such a genuine love of what she does and has the smarts to back it up with drawing on her expertise in recruitment. More importantly she talks in a way that just feels like you've met up for coffee. I'm very action orientated so setting up tasks for me is a win win. Obviously I knew she was empowering me to do the work required, getting me to think outside the box, gently probing, suggesting but all the while it felt like I had my own personal cheerleader! As a result my CV was whipped into shape, which created a seamless pattern to my working life. One which I've never truly seen before. This transformed my view and gave me the confidence to seek areas of work that ultimately utilised all of my skills/strengths and didn't sell myself short. Something which is so easy to do. I applied for a role in an area I wanted to move into, was shortlisted for interview and was offered the role before Christmas. Woo hoo! Liz at 4EG helped me on a recent and very much needed CV and LinkedIn update, she set up an initial consultation at my office and from there she drafted two versions. After a couple of small adjustments I got the result I needed and now have an up to date and professional looking and sounding CV and LinkedIn profile.
