Best venue in Leytonstone!!! Great cocktails, fresh cakes and sandwiches all day and a fantastic selection of new and used books! Very laid back atmosphere with folky and hipstery tunes from vinyls all day. And also nice gigs, reading and writing events. Very European vibe and a good alternative to British pubs. Pop in for one and you'll certainly be back quickly!!!

One of the best, tiny coffee and food places in London. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic place. If you want to go here just to have a coffee and relax whilst reading a book during the day? DO IT! And whilst you're there, why not have a sandwich or a tasty gluten free cake? Should you fancy something a little stronger they have a great range of beers and cocktails all at very affordable prices! Music is a feature here, be it via the record spinning behind the bar or its intimate gigs. If you haven't been here already....just go...then inevitably go again :) Should you forget to bring a book, don't worry. The walls are covered with books for you to peruse and buy. I've got some great gifts from here before! Oh, and I forgot to mention...the staff are great. They're always ready friendly and accommodating.

My favorite local cafe! So relaxed you can literally spend a whole day there, just drinking coffee, looking through the window and browsing their collection of music, art and books. A good selection of classical literature from around the world. Homely decor completes the space and makes for a wonderfully chilled out space to have your coffee or tea.

Not a bad cafe shop. Quite unusual for Leytonstone. Art and interesting.

Laid back, friendly cafe. With best soup BY FAR in the area.

Lovely place to go for a drink and chat and actually be able to hear the people you're with. Excellent range of local beers and tasty treats on the counter. I've not bought any books yet (which is kind of the point of the place), but they have very interesting reading matter. So why not 5*? It really needs a toilet (especially with such good drinks)!

I love this place. Lovely, book-y vibe, great coffee, sandwiches and cakes in the day and really nice cocktails and a chilled vibe in the evenings. Great selection of new and used books. The owners are lovely too.
