Awful experience here with the gentleman that served me today whilst collecting my order. I beleive his name was Mark (So he says) , and he was working on the click and collect desk at the front of the store. His attitude and language was absolutely appalling and certainly not the slightest bit acceptable! And not to mention the other issue I had with him today, when I asked to purchase a carrier bag I was told no “you can’t pay by card because of covid”. I asked why I couldn’t pay by card but by cash only, to which he said “cash or tough no bag”. I said I rarely carry cash now due to covid however that I would see if I had change, to which I found 19p change, (bag was 20p), I offered the 19p for the bag and reminded him I would happily pay 20p or even 1 for a disposable bag via card, as I needed a bag so my daughter wouldn’t see her birthday gifts I was collecting, but I was laughed at, and then told “are you deaf, the bags are 20p love, not 19, I’m not taking ya card for gods sake” I regularly spend a lot of money in Argos, and have never experienced any staff so rude, obnoxious, and unprofessional as this gentleman today! Even the customer behind myself commented to me and said “wow, what a rude attitude he had!” I will not be returning to this store again. Basic customer service skills are seriously lacked by this staff member, unfortunately letting the rest of his team down!

Very busy Argos store in North Finchley. The store also hosts the mobile phone provider/business EE. Usually has most products in stock that you would generally need, but delivery is available for most other items. Great for fans, kettles etc, that kind of thing.
Purchased and went to collect underbed storage at North Finchley Store. When collected it was damaged. Told the lady I wasn't accepting the damaged product. Was told I need to take it or else I won't get a refund and need to go to barnet to get a refund. Why should I go out of my way to return a item when it was faulty on collection?? Asked to speak to the manager and she stated she was the manager and nothing will be done. Absolutely awful customer service!
