Argos and it's partner complete savings is a scam Instead of getting 20% off purchase as offered with my receipt 15 of my money has been taken away . Sign up for saving Name Surname Address Card number for your cashback .... There is no cashback There is a surprise 15 transaction from my account to a swiss company as a payment for service that had not been received ( cash back on my last purchase) \Which\ is warning clients and saying not open and sign up !! \Beware\ is the first word associated with argos and complete savings I have not seen any info about any charges but big bold letters \claim 20% back\ - I would never have hand over my bank card details to anyone and never have given my bank details to anyone before , but because it was argos I have signed up for reward and now I have lost 15 ... That's not the end \which\ stated website says that Thousands of clients who made complaints also paid for their loyalty to argos and believed that they are genuinely gonna get some money back for their last order 1000clients x 15 ... 15000 worth of scam that resulted in argos clients spending extra rather than gaining as promised ! Now what is the actual number of scamned people is not 1000 as the number of complaind But 1000 people who never made a complain (10k x 15 150000) What if there is more ? What about elderly Disabled Autistic And others who have been scammed and never reported it ... Argos Shame on you !

Don't shop here. They give you faulty items and then call you a liar and refuse to exchange them. Incompetent staff and a waste of time and money.

Good variety of shops - next, argos, sainsburys, oasis etc. Easy enough to commute to also.
3 words **Poor customer service.*** I’m not sure whether it’s because this Argos store is a concession, but the staff were unhelpful and slow. Especially the manager, she had a dreadful attitude. I wish I had taken her name. Admittedly I didn’t have my physical receipt to exchange a faulty item. However, I had a scanned copy of my receipt (containing all the details) alongside the debit card I purchased the item with. The staff made such a fuss about me not having proof of purchase and then refused to serve me (all very unnecessary and embarrassing). Though when I mentioned I would be complaining to head office, all of a sudden they were able to assist me. I have shopped in Argos for years and have never quite experienced anything like it. I won’t be going back there. Time/date of incident 11:30am - 12pm on 18/01/2019.
