Despite not booking their own insurance, and despite saying no in store, they added it on anyway fraudulently and ripped me off for more than the entire car hire and refused to refund it. Don't use them. I've already been in touch with the branch and the customer service email, the former ignored me and the latter told me tough luck. Outstanding customer service....

Below should be considered in Mr. Larry D. De Shon performance review or else spare a prayer for Avis! 1. See attached letter. Booked and used a car for 3 days. Was never informed on how to pay or buy congestion charge. Especially since I was hiring the car from London city and returning it to London city! 2. Called in the number listed in the letter and a recorded voice will ask you to cut and call back the same number??!! 3. Finally after trying various tricks it says \all agents are busy call again latter\ I did not cut the phone just hung on...few seconds latter a call centre agent comes on line. 4. I first mentioned to him flaws (2 & 3) he ignores it and I again request him to bring this to the attention of a service quality manager. I then give him the booking reference number mentioned in the letter. He says this booking reference does not belong to Avis. He claims I did not book from an Avis website!?!? Claims I'm wasting his time raising voice and cut the phone!!!!???? 5. The attached letter has come to me 4 weeks post my car hire by postal mail not email. I personally visited the shop on Monday 13th May at 11.15am to discuss all of the above issues. The staff was extremely rude, abusive and asked me to get out of the shop. Any lawyers reading this post please guide me to lodge a consumer court complaint in London. I live in Dubai & visit London occasionally. \WE DON'T TRY HARDER HENCE WILL NEVER BE NUMBER 1\ (new recommended marketing slogan atleast you be honest to shareholder & customers)

Everything was great! Easy pickup, great car, great service and easy to drop off. Price of car was also much cheaper :)

Everything I expected, I got there around 10 minutes before I should have but they kindly allowed me to pick up the car earlier. The check in process was easy, everything was explained on a touchscreen in front of me. The car was in great condition and the out of hours drop off was really helpful. I would use this branch again.

If I could leave minus 5 stars I gladly would! The parking situation for all businesses in the area is extremely difficult and makes it impossible to run a business owing to AVIS. Thank you for being so considerate and taking all the parking spaces and affecting everyone around you!!!
