TOTAL BREACH OF PATIENT CONFIDENTIALITY! Absolutely shocking service for an organisation that’s meant to help people!! I specifically stated NOT to send any correspondence to my home address. To my horror, a letter was in fact sent to my home containing very sensitive information about all details of my therapy and all of my concerns of my current situation that I had been forced to talk about in a telephone interview before therapy had even began!! I could not believe how I was spoken to on the phone with such little empathy and lack of concern about such sensitive matters! I did make the person I had the telephone interview with aware that I have no privacy at home, yet despite this a letter was still sent out! The letter was then read by a family member in my own bedroom, I then got mocked about wanting to end my own life and verbally abused in the most belittling manner. I now have suffered further due to this, and am falling into depression and scared to seek further help from anyone due to lack of trust! The pain is incomprehensible, I have just had surgery and also suffered a loss. My GP referred me to ‘Back on track’ for CBT, and now I feel totally isolated and even more alone than ever before, I’m not sure why this organisation even exists!!

A sympathetic place to attend for accessible psychological therapy for adults in the area (NHS IAPT), they welcome self-referrals for mild/moderate anxiety/depression difficulties (no need to go to GP) and have group, online and face-face options. Outcomes and waiting times here are as good as any similar service in London.

Sadly, the administration and communication skills of this organisation have deteriorated beyond belief in my experience of being a client.

Do not recommend to anyone. If you need therapy and you want to decide for this one as your financial situation is not letting you pick private psychological help do not do it anyway. The frustration you will have to deal with when you see how bad they treat you, will only make you feel worse. I have been treated with negligence from their side second time now and Im not planning to go any further with them. Small advice for Back On Track. If you can t treat people with respect and you cant organise your work dont do it at all. You can hurt people and make them feel really bad especially if we re talking about psychological help you should be focused and reliable even more and what are you doing...?
