I saw this place when it was opening,while on my way to cinema before the corona virus time. Then I forgot all about it as you cannot see it from the high street. It looks so nice on the inside, you need to make a reservation as it gets really busy,the decor of the place has an American bar restaurant vibe. There are nice sofas and they have made compartments for prevention. The staff don't wear masks or have any visors which i think its important for their safety but it didn't really make much difference. The service is nice it can get slow at times when the place gets fuller. Our host for the evening was Dorota she was lovely ,she was welcoming and smiling ,made suggestions and she was very attentive. We had 2 starters the sausages were so yummy the prawns were so greatly cooked. For mains we chose the steaks medium rare and they had the most amazing chargrilled flavour. For dessert I had the churros icecream . It was really good price for the great time we had !!!

WOW! That is all I'm going to pretty much say. First time visitor and will definitely be back. Food was delicious, atmosphere was super chilled and relaxing. The interior decor was stylish, the service from the young waitress was spot on. Thanks Bar Block see you soon
Really Nice Whitbread Owned Restaurant in the Heart of Sutton. I went During the Coronavirus Pandemic so there was a reduced menu in operation. As I was staying at the on-site Premier Inn I had the Premier Inn Breakfast. Really Friendly Waitress in the morning.
Fantastic meal. Very relaxing. Good social distancing in place. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. First time here will definitely return.
Ate here with my young daughter and husband. We had a 40% off mains voucher and thought we'd give it a go. Great kids menu, 6.50 for veggie sticks, burger & French fries, drink and dessert. We started off with salt & pepper squid which was really tasty. Both the burgers were made fresh. You could tell they weren't frozen patties from the freezer. But it did make it tricky for my 6 year old to eat a very tall burger. I had the most flavoursome Steak, cooked to perfection and seasoned well. I didnt think the portion of triple cooked chips was very big, but in truth I couldn't have managed any more. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her fruit pancake, the chocolate brownie was yummy, but not 6.50 yummy. Nice restaurant. Nice staff. And with your menu being the same kinda prices as Harvester, we'll definitely be back soon.
