Baskerville tea shop is one of the hidden gems of London. If you’re looking for a place that brings sophistication and elegance in a chilled atmosphere look no further than this place. The tea house is situated away from the hustle and bustle of London. By far the best place to get scones and they have a great selection from savoury to sweet. It is a haven for many mothers and toddlers some might consider this to be a drawback but I don’t see it that way. If people wish to have quiet time and avoid the mums and toddlers I would recommend going earlier in the day. Cannot fault the staff, very attentive to our needs and made our experience enjoyable. Overall a great experience and a place as I would recommend people to go to ad oppose to the chain coffee shops

Love this quaint cafe/tea room. Excellent variety of tea and hearty meals. They also have child friendly area where parents/carers sit with toddlers. The children are given colouring books and toys to use whilst in the cafe

The whole cafe was filthy. There were crumbs all over every table and seat. I needed a highchair for my daughter and again they were all very dirty, so I had to clean them myself whilst the waitress watched. I had to swap chairs from different tables as there was jam smeared all over the seats. There were sugar cubes left out on the table and with the current worry of covid I asked for some fresh sugar for my tea as it isn't at all hygienic using sugar others had touched but I was told no. The whole place looked like it needed a good top to toe clean! I even felt I had to wash my hands upon leaving the place. Shame, as I had researched first and seen all these positive reviews. Maybe today was an off day.

Friendly, welcoming and forgiving, we had 3 kids, the most comfortable o have felt in a restaurant. No one gave us a dirty look. But please do other diners a favour and sit at the back of the restaurant . The food was also tasty, well presented and arrived early from when the order was taken. I took away scones and cake also tasty. I will revisit minus my minion just so I can take a leisurely lunch/tea. Highly recommended. Just go.

Adorable place, with the best cream tea I found in London so far. They bake their own scones and cakes and everything tastes fresh and home made. It’s located in a lovely area, right opposite Broomfield Park and the staff is efficient and polite. Whenever I have friends visiting London, I bring them here to impress them. It never fails.

Delightfully traditional English tearoom! Scones just like my mum makes! Good service, fairly priced.

Boogie Bear Music And Drama

I have been doing the Boogie Bear Music & Drama classes at Baskervilles for 3 years and have had a wonderful experience with all the staff. Feel extremely accommodating and friendly and make all the parents feel very welcome to come into the class. A very big thank you especially to the managers Wayne & Kat. Christine
