If you are looking for bibimbap, this place may not meet your expectations, despite the restaurant calling itself after the dish. The food was well done and was served very hot in a bowl, so hot that you had to wait at least 15mins or you would burn your tongue on the food. However the fish wasn’t well seasoned as I would have hoped and a lot of the vegetables were more soggy than crisp. The cabbage from the kimchi in particular was underwhelming and quite chewy, so although the dish looked nice I have to question the freshness. I don’t think I will return here.

Not bad overall! The tofu bimbap I enjoyed and the crispy rice as the dish continued to slowly cook it was beautiful. It went well with the Korean plum wine. It was sad that there was no desert menu, that would have been nice. It was a worthy attempt for this dish.
