Danny Fisher is not just any trainer. He has the wisdom and experience to work with you wherever you are at. Some of his strengths include:a focus on healthy movement, creating a safe non judgemental space, building a confident and positive attitude in me. I have gained this, some muscle and grit/perseverance during the pandemic and I will need this as I carry on my fitness journey in Australia. I never thought I would be a woman who worked out in darkness wind and rain but now, I am! Sorry to leave as we aren't done yet!

I came to Danny with specific goals: to build towards better fitness and wellbeing in a way that becomes permanent for me (as opposed to yet another cycle where I hustle and then let it all go). Eight weeks in and I have much better mobility (undoing not just the laptop work but some weird movement patterns and tension), and I am now starting to build strength and power. This work is not easy, so don’t expect a coasting ride - my own focus, concentration, effort in and outside the studio combined with the expertise of Danny and Dan is definitely bringing positive change but now that we are really in beast mode it is intense every time I go. I really appreciate how personalised the experience is - from the specific body issues we are working through to checking in on my wellbeing to the kind of music I like to train to. These guys are epic, highly knowledgeable, attentive, curious, a lot of fun, and if you are serious about change, this commitment is worth every ounce of your energy and investment.

Great team at Blackheath studio. They strike the right balance between motivation and encouragement. I particularly like the focus on body mechanics and posture to get the best outcome, not just traditional weights and cardio. For years I’ve had a number of nagging injuries and issues which thanks to Danny and team are finally being resolved.

He is very charged up and helps each client achieve their maximum potential physically and mentally with great practical advice coupled with highly targeted and personalised training regimes . The studio is superbly located right in the heart of blackheath village and easy to get to. It’s a very friendly space in which to workout ! 100% recommended .

Extraordinary and transformative. It's difficult to express adequately the difference that going to Karolina (and Danny) has made to my life. In mid-2017 I was disappointed to be diagnosed with stage-4 liver and bowel cancer. It required a fair bit of chemotherapy and surgery to stabilise things (5 major abdominal operations). I decided after one of my liver surgeries to get fit again. I started going to Karolina at the Blackheath Fitness and Wellbeing Studio twice a week. It is fair to say there is not much enjoyment to be had amongst the sweat and I rarely look forward to training - the trick is afterwards. The amazing thing is that, however sluggish my enthusiasm, I have never been (no not once) to a training session and not felt both physically miles better and also noticeably happier for having done so. I used to get regular lower back pain (having a sedentary job) but never get pain now after regular stretching. The proof is, as ever, in the pudding. This year I have run two half marathons - one in 2 hrs 13 mins which for someone well on the other side of the hill felt quite an achievement. If you have a bit of willpower, Karolina (and Danny) will provide the direction and support to be transformative. Try it and never look back. - and thanks Karolina - genius!
