Great to see if you know it's there. Very little recognition/information on what the history of the building is though.

Historic site of the former “safety match” manufacturing complex renewed as a gated residential community “The Bow Quarter” in the 1980/90’s. Comprising a repurposed aggregate of diverse former factory, office and maintenance buildings and “foreman cottages”, some dating from the 1870’s. Major buildings in the precinct now named after New York districts. Scene of the historic and landmark London match-girls strike of 1888 and subsequent establishment of the first British Trade Union for women. A Grade II Listed site with a distinctive architectural footprint in a landscaped surround. Public not admitted.
