Basic council-run multi storey car park. In need of significant investment but does at least have new lifts, a gesture of things to come as more improvements are planned (or were pre-Covid). Often open a good 2 hours before listed times as council contractors and local police use it for storage of their vehicles. CCTV is supposedly in place but this doesn't extend to the furtherest reaches, lifts and stairs. Local drug users/dealers often frequent stairwells and the Lymington side lift lobby area though a Police Space Protection Order is now in place to effect dispersal if police are notified. The typical car park user entering and leaving via the lifts is unlikely to ever encounter any of this. Cheap all day parking if arriving before 10am ( 2.70 including service charge to paybyphone, or 1.45 all day Sundays, though the operating hours on this day are very short!

Parked here on a Sunday for maybe an hour, tried to pay but couldn't the app wasn't working. came back to an 80 ticket on my car.
