Jacobean Manor Houses in London suburbs are few and far between. This one looks good from the outside but very little of the interior remains. It's set in a park which is heavily used for sports activities. The house itself has (in normal times) arts events and before today's visit for a Covid jab, I saw a production of The Barber of Seville by Scherzo Ensemble, which was brilliant.

What a lovely place that is! There is lovely cafe further down behind the place. There is a plenty space in the green field at the back of it. I do recommend it for a family visit!
Great place and park around it. Beautifully preserved b
Went there to have covid jab very organized
It's a remarkable manor house residence one of the rare witnesses of the architecture in the Jacobean era built in the xix century. The multiple smaller gardens have a special taste with their different garden architectural features. Worth to ment that there is a special place, which is the home of the Amnesty International memorial statue. The building embrace a café & a public library and some unique hall and room. Exclusive venue for wedding or concerts...
