Charming comedy club. We tried to go to the Bill Murray and couldn't get in. This place ended up being a superb alternative and will be going again very soon. The people, pub and beers are great!

I attended Comedy Ripper on 6 August 2019. Attending alone, found the night on Eventbrite. Costing 1.00 entry (basically so they can anticipate numbers I assume), off I went. Categorically the smoothest set up for a midweek comedy night I've been to in a long time (or ever)!! 14 comedians, all made me laugh. Some obviously more experienced than others. But all had some great jokes. Sean, the MC was just brilliant to. Warmed the crowd, and continued to have a laugh and a joke when he had a minute. Getting comedians on and off stage so there was not a silent moment between the comedians - he made the show roll like a military operation. This night gets a strong recommendation from me, when you're visiting East London, or live here like me, make sure you try this night. I will see you there, I'm certainly going again!!!
Welcome pub environment with great food and beer. The comedy show upstairs is amazing with a wide range of performances from comedians starting out to professionals. The Booker is friendly to other comedians and the crowds are nice and come for a laugh. This makes for a wonderful evening out almost any night of the week and I would recommend this to both locals looking for a fun night to break the cycle and people traveling for that intimate soul of the city feel.
amazing comedy club. Good laughs, good people and good ambiance. The intimate setting makes it so easy to connect with the comedian, which is fun and different. Had the best time there! Next time in London will visit again.

Had a great night out here. The comedy night is very well run and in a good venue. Will be back for more laughs!!
Had good fun, family environment, good amateur comedians (Monday) and funny host. Only thing is not maybe advertised enough, we were at the pub and the comedy was upstairs (but it said upstairs closed) and there was no announcement that the comedy would be starting or advertisment on where to go.
