I have used Coopers on various occasions over the last 4 years and they remain the place to go for electrical goods. Why? Several reasons: 1. Excellent knowledgable staff who advise you on the right product; 2. Prices are fair and competitive - price match with all of the bigger suppliers; 3. Customer service - one phone number to speak directly to someone about product you are buying - they always have the answer; 4. Efficient delivery by an excellent delivery team. Rightly the store have an excellent reputation and I am thankful that independent shops like Coopers continue to flourish.

Excellent service. They are always cheerful and helpful and could not be more prompt and efficient. I recently went in to the shop with a problem and they had come to the house and solved the situation within 2 hours. Their prices are excellent and they always make sure that the customer has the best possible deal. Highest recommendation.

Post script; Following my last experience below went back and had great service. Bought a Lacanche range oven and the help was supportive, knowledgeable and friendly. Still no dogs allowed but fine. Previously: 'Had great service from Coopers last year and bought 2 range cookers and 2 large fridge freezers. We went last week to buy another range and fridge freezer only to be told it was by appointment only and couldn't enter. Nothing on their web site or door about that but OK its unusual times. Went back today for our appointment and told no dog, or children, again nothing on the web site and we weren't told last week but OK. Also still nothing on the door about making appointments or dogs and children. Went in and while we appreciated the measures they were taking about washing down appliances they were happy for us to come in without masks nor did they have any on. Sanitisatier was provided. After a brief conversation which included a rather cras comment from one of the team we had enough and left. We run a school that requires the highest level of hygiene in these times so we fully understand, communicate and implement a consistent covid policy and actively encourage it ourselves. But this was neither consistent, was very poorly communicated and managed and cost Coopers a 7000 sale'.

Have made a few appliance purchases with Coopers and they have always been very helpful and provided a good service. Have dealt with Lyle who has always been prompt in quoting. Will always try them first and i'm grateful we have a retailer like them locally.
