I honestly love this place so much. It is one of my top 3 favourite London spots. Everything I've had from there is world class, but even more than that I always love the atmosphere. I ended up moving out of London when the pandemic started and I've missed the place something awful - so my friend just sent me a hot chocolate care package and it is absolutely delicious. In summary: i can't wait until i can pop by the shop again, but in the meantime rest assured that the make at home hot chocolate kit is still absolutely excellent. (and while you don't get the lovely atmosphere of the place it DOES come with instructions including music suggestions to put you right in that head space) And if any of you folks from Dark Sugars see this - Thank you!

Yes I love hot chocolate, yes I love sweet drinks. And dark sugars was perfect, thick, sweet and heavy. Maybe the last drops were a bit too heavy even, I ended up passing out on the couch right after from having too much sugar in my blood
Dark Sugars is by far one of the top hot chocolate spots in the UK. The chocolate is extremely high quality and only the finest beans are used (from what I can taste). Me and my partner usually go with the dark chocolate with chocolate sprinkles, which they cut from a massive block of chocolate. The staff is very friendly and the overall chocolate selection is phenomenal. I would highly suggest checking them out if you're in and around Brick Lane.
Best Hot Chocolate in London. Such a great place to shop for boutique chocolates in general. Service is mostly good too (depending on whom you have to deal with). But best part about this place is the hot chocolate they offer. Lately they have started offering ice-creams too. All locally made.
This is the smaller of two stores close by to one another. While the other boasts a larger selection of chocolates and ice cream, this one has a homey, intimate vibe. My friends and I went to both in the same evening, and had a more fun time in this smaller one talking to the folks in the store. Oh - and the chocolates are amazing, of course.
