I visited July 10th at 9:30am and it was closed. No signage :( \u003cUPDATE\u003e I have since had an explanatory response from the owner. I cannot delete my original review but I can change it from 1 star to 5 star based on the fact that he responded within 24hrs. That said, I was still disappointed to have made the tube journey. I did call ahead of my trip but the answering machine left no indication the shop would be closed. Perhaps your opening hours can be temporarily adjusted on google? I'm not certain. To Dave, I too am a patient like yourself. I wish you good luck on your journey. And finally, thanks for the offer of compensation. Very kind

Dave has made trousers and altered suits for me before. This was the first time he had ever made me a whole suit from scratch. We worked on it and planned it together. At first he was rather shocked by some of my wilder suggestions but he worked at it, he suggested his own alternatives and at the end of the process we were both delighted. A seemingly sober suit with some real stand out flashes. Thank you Dave.
Visited this shop today with a coat that needed slight fixing and was welcomed with fantastic service and great advice should the same fault occur again. These smaller bespoke specialists are like gold dust which we should think about before running to bigger chains and I highly recommend this service.
I was born in Italy, where the best tailors are from. I moved to London a long time ago and it was really difficult to find a good tailor. Since I have been to Dave Wax Tailors, I can feel at home. Dave knows what I want before I even ask for it: he is an expert on bespoke. I found my London's tailor and I'm really happy with him; he doesn't make mistakes and I never have a complaint to make. I would recommend to buy a bespoke suit, he has only the best fabrics. Also, he does the alterations: don't go to Laundrette's tailors; leave your garments on expert hands! Michele
Dave is a tailoring master. So much pride and attention to detail in his service. He has learnt his craft over a long time and knows exactly how to get the look you want. Great service. Highly recommend.
