I was very nervous about having a very complex beaded wedding dress fitted and altered after I had to rescue it from the shop I bought it from during lockdown but the team were absolutely fantastic. Attention to detail was second to none and they made me feel really reassured that everything was going to work perfectly. The dress fits me like a glove and I cannot wait to wear it for my wedding. Most importantly, I felt really safe leaving my dress with them at was is a very nerve-wracking time. The bill for the alterations even came in cheaper than was expected. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I had my bridal jumpsuit with overskirt and cape made from scratch and my mother's wedding dress altered and fitted at Bride&Alter in the first half of this year. I could not have been more pleased with their professionalism, their highest level tailoring skills, knowledge around material and general friendliness and kindness. The Bride&Alter team was most diligent and delivered 100% on what they have promised in the exact timeline they have estimated during the first consultation. I absolutely loved going there for each and every of my many fittings and consultations and was always looking forward to discussing my wishes with the wonderful team. Design & Alter where recommended to me and I am so happy we came across them. My sister had to bring her wedding forward due to illness and we called them last minute to have her wedding dress altered, we explained the wedding was in 3 weeks and they managed to fit us in. When we arrived, we were greeted in a very professional and friendly manner by Martina who then introduced us to Eva who took us upstairs to the fitting rooms. It was a lovely open space which felt clean and warm. Eva has an aura that would make anyone feel comfortable. She is calm and honest and so precise. She didn't try to add any extras and made us feel relaxed that the dress was going to done on time. We came back a week later and the dress was altered to perfection even a few extra bits that we didn't expect we done. When it came to paying, we thought such amazing service would come at a high price but we were shocked how well priced it was. Eva offered to store the dress for another week at no extra charge. When we went to collect it, she had another plastic cover put over it to keep it clean and safe from the rain. Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish and would highly recommend. Demi is so happy with her dress and we will send you all pictures of the special day. Thank you to all of you for everything.
