Hi - despite this company receiving a 5 star rating my own experience was totally at odds. We contacted this company to deliver concrete and at the time of booking specified the amount of concrete we required and my husband specifically asked them to ensure they had enough and even asked for more. The response was basically don't worry as the lorry is full. When they came to deliver the concrete (at least an hour or so late), it became very clear they did not have enough concrete on the lorry to complete the job. The people on site literally drained the lorry of concrete and walked through the house with buckets to add to the base we wanted concrete. They were still a metre short. To our shame we paid the guys in cash in full as they promised to come back within the next day or so to finish the job. Despite numerous phone calls, and texts and promises "they wanted to keep us happy", we never ever came back to me to finish the job. This meant, because of the very small amount left, we had to buy our own concrete, hire a concrete mixing machine to finish the job. We paid cash, which we should never have done and I also asked for an invoice which never came. The owner was extremely loud and rude (I admit I was too, for good reason) but in the end, never came back to finish the job. It was clear the lorry was far from full and they had another job they went to first, which meant they did not have enough concrete to complete our job. Despite what experiences others have had, mine was not a good one. Whatever response the company may have, this is the absolute 100% truth. They may be competitive in price but in our experience, this ended up being far from competitive and after a couple of weeks trying to get the company back to finish the job, we were totally ignored. Just be warned....
