Firstly- these solicitors are not located here. This is an estate agents office, that collects any documentation sent to Emin Reed and forwards it on. We picked this firm, as we were buying a house in the neighbourhood and hoped to meet the conveyencer face to face as this was our first home. Fat chance of that. Every request for a meeting was put off. They did the bare minimum, were not responsive to emails or phone calls, and made the settlement quite stressful. They did not provide any advice or guidance to us as first time buyers. Would never use them again.
I would recommend Emma Jones who acted for both my sale and purchase. She provides an efficient service.
I have been using Emin Read for 6 years now for property transactions. Very happy with the service. Unfortunately got to experience other solicitors with disappointment when Emin Read was acting for the other party so I could not use them. We live in Clapham and a lot of people here use them.
