Sadly, I didn’t have the honour of knowing Errol save for a few short meetings with him when he was out and about with his mum. I have however known his mum Margaret for several years and since Errol’s passing our friendship has flourished. I have learned in this time what a beautiful soul Errol was and how cherished he was and still is by his mum, his family and many friends. The words on his bench, taken from a poem he wrote, are both beautiful and soothing and my spirits are always lifted when I take a moment to rest there when visiting the park. I love the tributes Margaret pays to Errol (seen in photographs on this page) in which she decorates his bench in ways fitting to his character and expressive of her deep sense of love and loss for her beautiful son. Beauty full Hearth Symphony of my UniqueVerse. Always in all ways Errol. Far from the eyes, so close in the heart. Bless, I love playing my drums with You, King of all realms. Your bench is so perfectly situated between the Ra'sing Sun and the setting Moon. Mc Kenzie Gardens is indeed a sacred space now. Thank You so much.
