I had a straight forward good experience with them last year. The lads were easy going and helped me check out just before closing time. Hired a Merc convertible.

Zero regard for the surrounding community. They park their cars illegally in surrounding residential streets taking up all the resident spots, but worse they park on the footpath on Clapham Road - bumper to bumper, door to door so people have to walk on a MAIN ROAD to get around them. Dangerous and totally unacceptable. Wheelchair users don't have a chance of getting down the footpath either. Customer services have ignored me for the past 2 weeks on the matter.

Everything was fine until I realised I'd left my keys in the car, I returned and a staff member was getting in the vehicle, I said my house keys are in the door and asked if I could look, he briefly glanced in the doors and said 'no they're not' and drove the vehicle into the cleaning area. I know for a fact they were in the car but he didn't give me a chance to speak, so after being locked out for hours I can't say my experience with Europcar was positive at all. There's other reviews about the men in the forecourt area - you need to sort it out, I'll never be using Europcar again based on how rude this staffmember was.

Worst car rental experience in my life! Over 2 hours wait, no answer, apology or explanation from the manager [email protected] sitting behind her laptop and rejecting to address the long clients line waiting in the heat outside for hours. They dis not give me the SUV that I booked. Another customer was given a car that broke down around the corner and came back fuming because it was the 4th car they had given her. See the line of clients in the pic. A 3 hours process from arrival to drive out.
