Really awful experience at the Pilates mat class today. Despite the description saying “this class is for all levels” the teacher spent the first five minutes scolding me—in front of the whole class—for attending at 7-weeks post-partum. I explained to her that my consultant had cleared me for all exercise - this wasn’t good enough. I was told that I should be doing specialist postnatal Pilates, which the studio doesn’t offer. I offered to leave the class - twice - she said it would be “difficult for her to juggle” but she would try to give me modifications. It was a really humiliating experience. I stayed and the modifications she did give me made absolutely no sense (for example, she told me not to do lunges - what on earth do my thigh muscles have to do with giving birth?!). Needless to say I will not be returning.

I hired Eve and Grace for a workshop I was running with pregnant mums in April 2018. The studio couldn’t have been more perfect - spotlessly clean, easy to find for my guests, the mats and cushions we used were perfect. We had use of all the tea and coffee facilities and great music system. I’d highly recommend Eve and Grace to anyone wanting an accessible, impressive and easy venue to hire for an event or workshop. Terrible experience! Booked in for a pregnancy massage, only to be contacted 1.5hours beforehand saying it had been cancelled. I had to arrange my own refund through Treatwell. Rang Eve and Grace and said this isn’t possible because it was outside the 24hr cancellation period. They told me to sort it and I pushed back eventually they said they would do it. I didn’t trust them based on this conversation so I rang Treatwell directly and they confirmed Eve and Grace had not made any cancellations but it was in fact their duty to do so! They are now chasing on my behalf and my Saturday plans are ruined. Had been looking forward to this all week suffering lots of back pain (pregnant with twins!) and a tough work week. Do not bother with this place!

Absolutely fantastic. The best studio i've been to in London, would highly recommend. Booking is very simple and easy to do. Each class is unique and personal. Love the small classes, which enables you to get to know your teacher and they can work on your specific needs every session.

If you love the intimacy of a smaller space and require personal guidance in terms of your practice then this is the place to come. Classes are small enough for instructors to guide and correct postures as necessary. The place is very clean (mats are cleaned immediately after use which is a bonus for someone as fussy as me), the instructors are passionate about what they do and more importantly they listen and try and engage you without being pushy. The overall ambience of the place is calming and my experience so far has been very positive and i look forward to this continuing.
