Explore learning supported both my children to learn. They have different needs all of which the staff tended to. My daughter passed her 11 with the support of the staff as her test was 4 months before the course was projected to finish, and the topics covered. My younger child returned to school extremely confident, after spending time over the summer learning at explore. We worked out that fees were reasonable compared to private tutors in the home who can charge up to 30 per hour. We liked the interactive and relaxed atmosphere. Staff always use positive language. Super thank you to Liz xx

Not the best of place. The environment is supposed to be friendly and a place where kids enjoy whilst learning. However, it feels as if though when speaking to the children the tutors get annoyed and irritated very quickly with them And take the fun a way from learning. My children have been there for a couple of years. Yes, I understand that when they see their friend and when they are together they do get too happy sometimes. But these are just kids. When I walk in the the centre to pick them up I get such a negative and off vibe both from management (which started in July 2018) and the tutors as well. It is soo awkward. If only there was another centre close by, then I would have given my children to that centre instead. I desperately dislike this newly managed centre. It makes the parents feel intimidated. I will not recommend children who have a learning disability to attend this centre as it is not learning disability friendly. However, my other child with no learning disability they are treated in a nice friendly manner. Very unfair on my child who has a learning disability. If only there was any other place within that area which was disability friendly I would most definitely removed them from this centre.

Overall the standard is okay, but it definitely is a rip off for the amount you have to pay. Say if it was 30 per month, then I would say it’s worth it- but 124 is an absolute scam, as well as a 50 registration fee. Plus, the majority of the so-called ‘qualified’ tutors are teenagers who are too young for university- they’re 16 year olds who are still in college! I had a free trial and I noticed that it was the managers who demonstrated the tutoring- as opposed to the actual tutors. Also there was too much of an emphasis of it being a business, made it seem like they were in it for the money as opposed to actually bettering my child’s education. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place purely because you just won’t be getting your money’s worth. However, I do want to note that the staff in general are genuinely kind and helpful, they do smile a lot and it does seem like a brilliant environment for the kids to be in. They sincerely enjoy being with the kids and try their hardest to make it a fun and proactive environment. The downside is just their lack of experience (academic primarily), as well as the overpricing.
