Breakfast was a disaster. Ordered scrambled eggs with avocado, spinach and cheese on a bun and a espresso which I then quickly changed to a cappuccino. My girlfriend ordered something else which arrived in a couple of mins (including the drink). I waited for long and suddenly a guy came with scrambled eggs on toast. I said that I was expecting avocado, he firstly said that I can order it on a side and then when I told him what my order contained, then he said “oh yes, you have the other dish” and he reassured he would have come back with the cappuccino. No apology. The new plate arrived, cold, eggs were not hot at all and cappuccino still missing. He reassured again and he left. no apology. I finished my breakfast and no sign of the cappuccino... we went back asking for the drink, as I wanted an espresso at that point (end of the meal), I asked to change it for a single espresso. Guy didn’t apologise. The lady served the espresso in a plastic cup even if my order was a “have in”, I asked her to make it again, she made it and she served it straight from the coffee machine asking if I needed a coffee plate too. I don’t bother the coffee plate but it was like having a coffee on a rush which is not what you want on Sunday morning. The guy justified the situation because “it is busy” ... it was 9am on Sunday morning! Totally disaster!

excellent quick breakfast spot on High Street Ken, and conveniently located right next to the Design Museum. So much breaded goodness to choose from! The pickle and cheese sandwich was particularly delicious!

Why do I love Gail's....Because it's fabulous. Today I needed cheering up and bought a sausage rolls.. absolute bliss. The San Francisco sourdough is a favourite as is the baguette. Year on year they build on their success ...but their standards and quality are superb. It an absolute pleasure when you can honestly say you feel like you're are shopping at a local family business....what a business.

I am been there today, and feel so unhappy with how I been served. There is a lady, short high, over normal weight, short hair, wearing a black shirt. She is a bit to aggressive. They way she talk and shout, I just feel like ignoring her is the best thing I cud do. Please dear manager choice wisely your stuff so we can come here and enjoy our food. I would probably avoid to come again here, because of her way to talk, loudly and rude. Hope my message get to you and you can have a chat with her. Thank you for our delicious treats

Excellent and cozy bakery, you can find all types of breads and pastries, yogurts, salads, soups, drinks, etc. I really like the atmosphere of this shop, not too noisy, perfect to read your book or work/study. It was a cold day when we visited, so stopping here was a perfect choice for a little break from walking. The cappuccino is really nice and enjoyed the brownie, the lemon cake and the Sultana muffin.

Lovely place to go for breakfast, lunch or just to get a coffee. The food is quite fresh and high quality. The boxed salads are scrumptious and healthy for a picnic takeaway. Baked items are delicious as well and there are a whole lots of options to suit any pallette. It is our go to place for Sunday morning breakfast and we particularly love the French toast and scrambled eggs.

Very nice place to stop by to have a good cup of coffee and something from the bakery. They have sitting facilities outside and inside. Accessible well also for disabled people (toilet as well)
