I’ve always wanted to try my hand at pottery and this afternoon I had such an enjoyable experience with the Go Create Pottery course held in Wimbledon. The atmosphere was warm, inviting and very friendly, with excellent tuition and facilities in a purpose filled studio. - enhanced by hand made pots and ceramics decorating the space. The pottery session comprised of six people which was a perfectly sized group as it allowed the tutor Emilia to give everyone attention throughout the two and a half hour session - I can’t praise her enough. She began the class by giving a clear and concise demonstration of throwing a pot on the wheel. She then gave individual guidance to each person on their own wheel. It was such an enjoyable and relaxing way to spend the afternoon and a satisfying feeling of accomplishment! I made two pots which I’ll treasure as they are my first ever attempt at pottery!! I would highly recommend this pottery class to anyone who fancies trying their hand at creating a little something or for people wanting to increase their knowledge of ceramics. I am a very happy customer, thank you! II’ll definitely be returning for more. .

We had such a fab time.Wheel pottery is harder than it looks but so much fun. The tutoring was superb and by the end of the 2.5 hour session we had each made at least 2 pots We each worked at our own wheel and the tutor helped to center which is the hardest part. Thoroughly recommended.
Fantastic fun! I took in the introduction to the wheel course last weekend in Wimbledon and can highly recommend. The tutor was fantastic and the studio bright and welcoming. Each person had their own wheel and tools. After watching a demonstration as a group we were all seated at our own wheel and given clay to practice with. We were lead through the first pot as a group and then we could do the subsequent pots at our own pace. The tutor went from person to person offering individual support and guidance where needed. At the end of the session we could choose which of the three offered glazes we would like our pots to be fired with and told when they were likely to be read. I'm excited to see the results!
I booked 6 friends and myself on a 2 1/2 hour pottery course. The teacher was very friendly and we had great fun and an informative session. Our pieces were perfectly naned and wrapped in a box ready for collection and Tony helpfully delivered them to the car. We are going to book again a longer session as we have now got the bug! Would recommend.

I would not recommend this company. The course was brilliant. However, 8 months on and many emails exchanged and I still don't have my pieces. I'm extremely disappointed and annoyed.
I actually enjoyed the session and the teacher was very friendly but the lack of communication afterwards has left the experience a negative one. Collecting my items has been impossible. I had chased up with them 6 times or more and only get a response that someone will be in touch with me to book a collection date, but it never happens. Very very disappointing. It has now been 6months since I took part in the lesson. I would avoid booking a class with Go Create as I'm sure you can get a better experience elsewhere.
