I requested a valuation on some sports memorabilia two weeks ago and chased it up yesterday after receiving no reply. They still haven't acknowledged either request. Go elsewhere.
I had kept a Manchester United gold medal for 50 plus years and deciding where to sell it was not an easy task. I found Graham Budd Auctions and made some tentative enquiries. I was surprised that Mr. Budd himself responded promptly to my questions and was most helpful and fulsome in his answers. His estimate for my medal was OK and his suggested reserve was perfect. Well the day came and I followed the auction online and very exciting it was, especially as my item exceeded its' top estimate .
