most recently was here for Fringe Festival. awesome! cool! was invited on stage for audience participation for Drag Queen Comedy Act. more recently walked past to see major renovations going on. i see big things, McTavish-proportion Productions for \The Grand\ as we locals refer to it. there are ghost stories about this place, maybe hinting at Andrew Lloyd Webber's \Phantom of the Opera\. saw it twice on Broadway but my arms are tired of flying there. My parents saw it in Whales or Oxford, other London, twice so the soundtrack was my parting gift, I know it off by Heart if you need a choir stand-in *wink*

What an amazing local theater! I went with my wife to go see Margaret Atwood's The Penelopiad. We loved our experiencing this play. The cast performed wonderfully. The sets were ever evolving and changing and amazing to look upon. This theater is absolutely beautiful, and it seems so well cared for. The passion and love for this theater definitely show. I look forward to the next play that I can attend.
It has been a while since I last saw a play here so I won’t be able to comment on the safety protocols for COVID-19. The theatre is so beautiful and super comfortable, especially for it being somewhat small. They may not offer this service anymore but at least when I was there last, they had plenty of booster seats for little children.
Most of the staff are not professional, paying what you pay for the tickets.... and the type of serve. The performance is average. I’d recommend another
I have attended the grand many times but this is my first time writing a review for it and the show. The staff were helpful and the bathrooms clean but cramped. Also the men's bathrooms were a flight downstairs and a flight upstairs but u less you actively looked you would never tell. The carpets are not the cleanest but still well kept and the seating you could tell were from older days and could use a renovation as they were a little low, close together, and while they were well and comfortably padded did not afford much leg room. The production itself was well done and I will go into more detail with a separate review as this one is for the venue. The acoustics were satisfactory and well lit. London can be proud of the Grand as it does deserve that name, however one can still keep a legacy and improve.
