A quirky little bar, hidden away in this part of town (I wouldn’t have found the entrance without being told where it is). Definitely more shabby than chic, and definitely sit along the waterfront. Serves all the usual drinks and cocktail. Good to come during a sunny afternoon. When I visited, there was live drumming. Not sure how much it added to the music, but it’s certainly a fun atmosphere.

Great place, with good food and cocktails at an affordable price. Wonderful location with a rustic and spacious terrace on the canal. Necessary measures are in place in accordance with Covid-19 regulations. Booking is recommended, but if you're not in a rush the super welcoming staff will do their best to accomodate you. Quick tip: download their app, it will be needed for ordering and paying.
Quaint sustainable bar in a unique setting. We stumbled across it on one of their jazz nights, and couldn't have been happier - the music, drink selection and general atmosphere were exactly what we wanted for an evening out. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself aimlessly wondering the canals of Hackney Wick.
There was a nice chilled vibe in the outdoor seating area, and we had a table looking right onto the canal - great for people-watching. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and they've got some sensible measures in place for social distancing (one-way system and table service via an app); the live jazz was excellent too! You may need to be on their WiFi for orders through the app to work properly, we had a few failed attempts using 4G.
Such a lovely spot for food and a few drinks in the evening. Roshan showed us to our table and made sure we were attended to all night, and all the staff were lovely. I had the vegan gyro and it was delicious. The DJ was also super good and gave off funky vibes for the evening. Will definitely be going again!
