I have been taking lessons for over a year now and never thought I would progress so rapidly in such a dauntingly challenging genre as Blues. In one year, I went from learning scales and basic strumming techniques to playing traditional Blues standards and original pieces by some of the masters. But my progress is very typical of the student experience here. James provides the ideal scaffolding for success.
