Big fan of Hawksmoor as a go to steak restaurant. This branch was a little disappointing on a Sunday as the service was very slow and we were brought the wrong wine. The staff were not overly concerned when we mentioned how long it had taken to order and that the wrong wine was brought. The food was as usual very good however presentation a little sloppy. Have had better experiences at other branches so would return, perhaps not when as busy to this branch though.

The important part is that on Mondays you can bring a bottle of wine and pay 5 for them to serve it for you. This cuts the overall bill/check by a large amount making it possible to spend more money on their tasty food. The side dishes are as tasty as the main dishes and there are multiple that that compliment the main dish. They are decently large as well so if you and your friends order one each, it is possible to fill up your own plate then share. The steak they served was juicy, a bit too much fat but that's alright as they offered a variety of sauces for the steak, which I feel other places don't. Dessert was elegant and sweet and reasonably priced. Perhaps too much mascarpone as I felt that most deserts had this element in it.

Would recommend the Sunday roast. Beef, potatoes, carrots, Yorkshire pudding, greens and gravy for 23. Big portion and flavoursome. The express menu is also pretty good value. Nice seating and decor. Made a booking in advance due to covid. Overall good experience!

Great setting, Fabulous food & brilliant service in a Dimly lit & warm Art Deco(esque) layout. Our Steaks (mine with & Bone Marrow sauce) was to die for as was their Peanut Butter Shortbread. Thanks to the Eat Out to Help Out deal it was busy & buzzing (at a distance) Go there ASAP!
