Inclusion and Displacement is rated 3 out of 5 in the category program development. Read and write reviews about Inclusion and Displacement. Events of recent history have forced vast swathes of people to depart their homeland, isolating them from the familiar environmentally embedded forms of culture-specific engagement which inform identity. Consequently, for millions of people, a sense of inclusion and belonging has given way to the experience of displacement and dissociation. This experience manifests on multiple levels, impacting individuals, families, and communities. Thereby, provisions to facilitate and enable displaced populations in their endeavor to recreate a sense of inclusion and belonging ideally respond to those levels. The Inclusion and Displacement Project seeks to investigate such multidimensional responses by which displaced individuals and communities can rediscover authentic identity.
